“Being outside is good for the soul” and that’s where Emma is her most content, getting inspiration for her artwork.

Emma spent many happy years living on a farm in the Borders of Scotland before going to school near Windermere in the Lake District, and then to the New Forest. Being surrounded by such beautiful countryside triggered her passion for rural landscapes and animals, particularly British wildlife and the elusive Brown hare from a very early age.

In her artwork she captures many of nature’s beautiful colours and characteristics. She works in many different mediums including charcoal, acrylics, pencil and oils.

She regularly takes on commissions including commercial and private murals, book illustrations, animal and house portraits, river map designs and marketing material design work.

She also runs creative workshops for adults and children and is always happy to run fun team building creative workshops for companies and organisations.

With two grown up children having flown the next she lives Bath with her husband, cocker spaniel and grumpy cat.
