Introducing Emma

Emma is a self taught artist and illustrator based in the beautiful city of Bath in Somerset.

She has clients all over the world and is well known for her landscape and wildlife art illustrations as well as her mural work. She has also done several high profile commercial art mural commissions, book illustrations and animal portraits. The latest commission being a collaboration with fellow Bath Artist Jason Dorley-Brown for a mural at Bath’s renowned museum ‘No 1 Royal Crescent’.

She’s passionate about making art as accessible as possible to people, and has always been inspired by nature and landscapes.She was brought up in Scotland, went to school in the Lake District, and spent her time in the New Forest and Switzerland, so mountains and dramatic scenery have been very close to her heart. She lives in Bath with her husband, cocker spaniel and grumpy cat.

Après Ski Bar

With such a prominent position in the city, seen by thousands of people every day, we needed a mural that reflected the quality and style of the hotel whilst also being a sophisticated addition to Bath at Christmas. With such an open brief, Emma’s winter woodland design was an instant winner! The snow globe mural has been enjoyed by hundreds of people from across the globe and the animals on the Après Ski Bar lodge have been admired by old and young alike. Emma is such a versatile artist and it is a real pleasure to work with her. She is certainly part of the Abbey Hotel family!
